Hey has anyone have any experience with using guitar rig 5. I have it but it doesn't seem like a vst. I can't load any samples into finale like other vsts like rompler and omnisphere. Is it possible to load it into a notator like finale? Thanks in advance.

 

Its a plugin VST (guitar amp etc simulator) not a VSTi (like a synth etc)!

Thats why you cant load sounds into it!

you can use it as an fx vst (which is what it is - guitar effects), by routing your synth vst's through it, or use an external input - guitar / keyboard / mic / etc

You load on your Audio track, like Guitar tracks then u can edit the sounds in there distortion, reverb, ect.. its not a synth plug

 

As everyone pointed out it's an effect plugin not a sampler and a fun one at that. You can create different effect chains to create some wicked stuff from the many effects on offer. Check out some presets to see what it's capable of and then get under the hood for some experimentation and don't just use a guitar, use it on synths too.

 

Haven't used it with Finale myself but I am sure you can, you will need to add its location into Finale. Again check out the user manual links I posted last time you were asking for help with Finale.
