"Activate Windows go to settings to activate Windows."

In settings>Activation it says in red type "We cant activate Windows on this device because we cant connect to your organizations activation server. blah blah blah... error code: 0x8007007B"

******** The fix:

Click on Troubleshoot and reactivate. Done. It fixes itself.

If you want to find your product key and save for later:

Use the Registry File in Windows 11
The Windows 11 product key is stored in the Windows Registry File, so it is possible to find the product key there if you navigate to the right place. Open the Windows 11 search tool and type “regedit.” Select the Registry Editor application from the results and click the “Run As Administrator” link. Using the left-hand windowpane in the editor, navigate to this key:

Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\SoftwareProtectionPlatform

the BackupProductKeyDefault key will reveal a valid Windows 11 product key.

If the Activation does not work you can use an Windows Activation Tool.

 

Thanks for the link! Steps 1+2 didnt reveal the key, but going into the registry did. I tried entering that in "change product key" but that didnt work. Clicked on Troubleshoot and that fixed itself. Very strange. Whatever alls well that ends well. Cheers!

 

Hey there! I feel you, buddy. That "Activate Windows" thing can be pretty annoying, but your fix sounds super easy and hassle-free.
