I don't hear anything that I haven't heard before, Just the usual BS that their synth is the absolute best, unbelievable, unbeatable ,incredible, better than life itself, it even farts and burps for you. When even freeware and resonable priced synths are capable of sounding like this one you must know and realise it's all in your imaginations, always wanting something new and different. When the Holy Grail of softsynths does come out you'll know it, because every musician and music magazine worldwide will be raving about it.

Why should be use somthing like this whereas there are meanwhile much more powerful VSTs available. At least for me.

I also got to hear it in a big studio today. It is a good synth. It is different than TI. It comes close, but it's a little more 'strickt' 'rigid' 'dry', I don't know how to describe. But it's especially a bitch to work with, as the workflow does not make sense. Therefore it's hard to make big huge sounds, it can be done, but it's harder than it would be necessary.

    Nice VSTi, but I wouldn't pay $189 :)

Dsp56300 is a straight code from virus b/c, add rom and you get same virus, but without its dac and wire noise artifacts, so cleaner (esp on higher sample rates)

You've been smoking some of that Robustica. Lower THC, but apparently the same effects. "My Roland Cloud 303 is the same thing". "Nice Jomox, I like the Virtual version better". "Nice 1901 piano, but I like the one from UVI". etc etc.

Are you even a musician who plays instruments? It's the only way to not understand the difference between a tangible physical instrument and something cooked up in your wishful thinking.

I know the difference between hardware C and software DSP56300.
C hardware is useless for me now, because it is more like a controller now with same dsp code I have on PC. You can touch it, yeah. But why you need this if vst is same?

I have real Virus C hardware.
All presets I open with C and with DSP56300 are same! Same filtering, same effects, same native sample rate 46875Hz (!) or something like that. All the behavior, all distortions, all complex presets, arps... They didn't model, they ported, like dendy sega nintendo games from cartridges on PC - everything same, music, sound, picture...
    Why same?
Because if you load C rom into dSp56300 you will get same OS bugs, midi bugs etc.
It is also real for waldorf, novation, ms2000, virus ti, clavia..
They ported all the assembly code into vst, all instructions. It is same digital as hardware. Either you want to buy a hardware with that code and record thru its DAC, wire, into your ADC, or download its code as DSP56300VST and work inside PC without noise and DAC/ADC/wire artifacts.

Make a comparison, listen to the demoes, play with plugin. All the same. But cleaner (no noise, no adc/dac..)

    What's wrong?

Don't compare analog 303 vs digital software clone. We don't compare analog vs digital, we even do not compare digital hardware vs digital emulation, we compare digital hardware vs "all that digital code from digital hardware into plugin".

Ported, not simulated like Navira, or Viper.

Isn't that strange that plugin opens ROMs and open presets 1:1 and copies all the bugs presented in hardware?

I don't want to discuss point by point because it's immaterial to me. Money is money.

But, a C is not a TI. A TI connected via USB or Spdif (coax) has no case/wire noise like you contend. If you can get that large of a point incorrect, we're done talking. Why bother? Like a UAD Satellite is just some dongle...easily replaced by code only. Sure.

If they are the same, surely you would like to trade your C for a Poco card? Card takes up no space in your racks. They are the same thing. right? Let me know when you'd like to trade. :)

But Navira and Viper are TI modelled vstis, Viper is close according to demo, but not there.
DSP563xx may copy TI same, but they do not do this, because it is illegal... C is discontinued, and they dropped it for free, waldorf may come soon, but also discontinued only synths to be copied.. So, if you want real C or B or Classic - download DSP56300 and its old ROMs, but if you want almost close emulations of TI - buy Viper or Navira. Or wait for dsp56300 ti version, but don't know when it comes really.....

    So your options:
    DSP56300 osirus (ported c/b/classic + rom) free
    Viper (TI emulation) pricey
    Navira (TI/jp8000 emulation) pricey

Or go further with serum, sylenth1 v3, spire, many other synths, they are not worse, different but still fkng good... Nobody will here too much difference.

What a great time to be Pirate Trance Producer.
Just in 1 year We've got:
    Adam Szabo Viper
    DSP56300
    Navira
    Fresh version of Sylenth 1

I missed something from Trance Classic Gear?

Emulating the Virus C is not free. I wish people would stop spreading this false information. The DSP emulator itself, is free but does not provide any synthesizer ROMs. The only way to get these roms ROMs legally, is to own the actual Virus hardware.

DSP56300 is free, or donations. Go to their website and click download. Put into vst folder.

ROMs can be found over the internet and simply download, i don't even know where to buy them, but dsp56300 site can't spread this legally, yeah. How much these ROMs really costs?

Do you really want to buy abandoned Navira for 200 bucks as not a 1:1 emulation? Or Viper (still updating)? Or search internet and use true digital clone? 3 options though and no need for Virus hardware really

Not trance only, but yeah, most presets are trance, 90s and 00s. So there can be also house, electro, techno, dubstep, chillout/ambient, pop/edm styles, trap and many. Try kamui Banks

Plug-ins are great, but I won't be selling any of my hardware synths/desktops. And yes, the ADDA conversion process adds a touch of magic, along with outboard mojo on the front-end. :) ime

There is no longer any point in synths "likе a virus" since the virus (b-classic-c) is available as an emulator. You don't need a fake if you can use the original.
