    Terry Hall, the lead singer of the Specials and a former member of Fun Boy Three and the Colourfield, has died aged 63.

    RIP This man started my journey with music so sad .. used to dance my tits off to the 2tone bands . I was a rudeboy Wore a 2tone tonic suite , Doc martins and covered in 1inch badges. Opened my eyes to political and racial struggles sad day. My condolences to his family and friends

    I remember exactly the first time I heard The Specials. I was across the street from Fiorucci's on 59th Street in NYC, buying chocolates for my girlfriend Vicky at Godiva when she put her shitty walkman headphones on my ears. I started automatically jumping around.
