Thank you for sharing information and files. Too bad emulations are confused with real amps. modeling a modeling what interest ??? it lacks a filter in the interface to identify them and correctly remove these amp erzat. I cleaned with SQ lite but it's not very practical.
For my part, I bought Tonex capture to re-amp and capture my amps and enjoy real amp models.
Small return. I find that the sounds are very good and very responsive. My models work well but I still have a bit too much room feedback in the SM57 + RM-7 ribbon mics.
Otherwise, I find the graphical interface quite confusing, especially to find the cab/hp to test on my emulations.
I find it quite weird that when I apply another cab to my models, some cabs sound louder than others and mine.

 

Yes ive heard profiles of amps I own sound boxy with a lot of cabinet resonance and room. When i mic mine in a crap room at low volume with a sm58 it doesn't sound like that all, in fact very good. I suspect many people are just profiling these amps too loudly and making the whole think resonate and Tonex captures that, Try backing it right off to more comfortable levels, and use cushions and blankets around the mic to shield it for the capture.

I had thought of protecting the room feedback. Maybe build myself an isocab but I don't have much room left.
shouldn't the volume problem exist with the VU meters? I calibrate with the maximum input volume before going into the red. Depending on the amp and the search performance clean/Crunch/overdrive this can be very loud. On my AC30 it's unbearable

I'm having some trouble getting the CSV import procedure to work and I did it carefully three times.
I followed the github sql tutorial and imported the database exactly but when I open Tonex v1.0.4 it shows random strings for the names and when clicking on a preset capture it crashes everytime.
Any ideas what could be corrupting the csv files or what I may be doing wrong ?

Problem with wrong position column. This problem was in first reliases Tonex. Simple solution - download from anyone Library.db and use this without SQL

 

ueah i wish i could use it to emulate other plugins too ¡ HAHAHA .. no only real amps.. inside my daw kind of handy..

 

is not so bad tonex.. but yeah guitar rig uses too much cpu ni.. is going down fast.. amplitube is ok.. not bad.. tonex it's ok.. my favorites are.. is.. Revalver 4. man that thing really sound good

,, and loads fast .. and uses less cpu.. all this NEW Plugins that uses too much ".PNG picture are very slow.. toontrack sd3 too.. very slow to load.. sd2 was better in that field. i prefer less graphics effects and more efficiency .,

 

i'm hoping this MIGHT help marshall...i'm guessing the columns haven't lined up between excel/calc and sqlite when saving...would you tell me if you've already done this?
i grabbed bwzrd's files from github, and i saved each as .csv in windows notepad as unicode (in the dropdown under the name field)...NOT ANSI.....when i edit in excel/calc, i open it in utf-16 format, edit it and save it as utf-16 and then import it to sqlite with the steps bwzrd laid out in his github instructions (i used replace row rather than ignore row.)

So after updating to amplitube to 5.5.3 ,changing presets takes few minutes, opposed to before that took just a moment.
Anyone also encountered this problem?

I just updated and tried mine... it works fine... I don't know, have you rebooted yet?

 

The good part is that AmplTube 5.5.3 plugin loads faster than before; the bad part is that loading either the Tonex amp or Tonex pedal in AmplTube takes a much longer time than before! The only solution I have found is by reducing the number of Tonex Tone Models.
