    DYMAI Sound - Proclethya (Analog Synthesiser) v1.0.9 VSTi - 64 Bit - Windows & Mac - $49

Inspired by the heights of the Accursed Mountains, Proclethya is a software synthesizer with analog characteristics. It was developed with three fundamental principles of analog sound: drift, noise, and distortion. The synth is simple to use which helps get great sounds fast during production.

The synth is in no way simplistic in sound, it is quite characterful thanks to its sound shaping options. The two main oscillators contain doubling mode and FM shaping to get unique timbres. It features unison for both oscillators to thicken and widen the sound. The signal can be mixed in two ways, crossfade - between the two main oscillators, or traditional mix mode with independent control for each sound generator. Onboard there are four effects to further color and enhance the sound including phaser, chorus, reverb, and delay.

    Features:
    • Two main oscillators with doubling per oscillator.
    • FM Shaper per oscillator to get interesting timbres.
    • Unison per oscillator to thicken and widen the sound.
    • Dual Mix mode - Crossfade or Mix.
    • Analog sounding State Variable Filter.
    • Warm analog Drive and Saturation.
    • Builtin 3 Band Eq.
    • Arpeggiator/Sequencer with control for speed, step size, length, motion, and more.
    • 4 Effect modules: Delay and Reverb with builtin ducking effect, Phaser and Chorus.
    • 95 production-ready presets and counting.
    • ToneShaper module to give depth, space, and definition.
    • HQ mode with 4x oversampling which can be turned on or off.
    Additional Information:
    • VST2/VST3 plugin formats (64-bit only.).
    • Works in most major DAWs, excluding Pro Tools. No AAX.
    • Demo Limitation: Every 30 seconds a short noise burst is heard.

I saw this offer and tried this synth (thanks to sister site), really nothing special, GUI is beautiful but not practical at all, simple ADSR envelopes, the filters are poor and it does not sound good.

I am currently making a free soundset for the Proclethya synth, but it will take about 1 month (January 2023).

When I played the Proclethya for the first time, I thought like Olymoon, sounds somehow not so great and then deleted it. Then I installed it again and moved the sliders myself and went to the bottom of the matter and lo and behold oh wonder he sounds pretty good.

The DYMAI Sound - Proclethya (Analog Synthesiser) is even among the Top 13 Synth VST Plugins 2022 (Scroll Down):

I have attached the PDF and a few pictures for you, because this Proclethya synth is worth it.

I never judge a synth by it's presets. I've been designing sounds with it, but given the choice we have today, this synth really is too poor in too many aspect, specially modulation.

I'll wait to see your free soundset though ...

Thanks Olymoon for your comment and assessment. You could really make something out of the Proclethya if you wanted to and that's how the price comes about and the lack of popularity. And there you have already given Olymoon a correct evaluation.

I also agree with you that the modulation sources and possibilities are very low - probably due to lack of time.

Better compare with Vital, it's free and much more powerful than Proclethya.
Also compare with Odin which is equally poor modulation wise, but osc and filters sound much better.
    Not to speak about Surge.
So even comparing with free synths, it's easy to find better ones.

It doesn't worth the money and less your time IMHO.

Everyone can download the plugin and test it extensively and form his own opinion.

Variety is very important, yes, but this synth does no "variate" to anything, it's just a basic synth like many others in it's structure, and a bad sounding one.

I own this synth and I agree with Olymoon: GUI is not practical at all. Especially the filter section is awkward to use.
It looks like some CG designer wanted to have a product in his portfolio, but didn't pay any attention to UX.
