I'm on Win10 Bitwig newest Version
An i like the Korg Native Opsix.......but the Win Version has many bugs and crashes
So i want to try to use the stable AU Version in my Win System
Is that possible with Blue Cat Patchwork or DDMF Metaplugin ?
Which one is better ? And how i install a AU Plugin in my Win System
In which location installs Win the AU Version ?

The rule of thumb , You can't use any mac plugins extension in Windows! not in our galaxy!

 

you can run MacOS as a virtual machine within Windows, host AU plugin(s) there, preferably via some plugin server solution like AudioGridder or Vienna Ensemble Pro

 

The best way is to contact KORG support (if your opsix native plugin is legit, obviously).

I have tested it (version 1.0.5, got from sister site) couple of days ago: I don't have any crash (or bugs) VST3, from Bitwig Studio v4.4.5, despite an "intensive" usage (discovering the instrument).

Rule of thumb:
Don't get into relationships with those who are unstable and have bugs.
There are plenty of others out there.

 

Haven't used the Korg Native synths but it seems a fact they're all buggy. Including the legit versions.
It would be interesting to know from someone experienced how the releases have been fixing the bugs. For instance, Korg Wavestation Native from v1.0.0 to the last one v1.0.4 or whatever it is.

 

I love Korg, but try Plogue chipsynth OPS7 It is a beast which beats all the FM synths I've ever used!

And with a dual layer as in the DX1... a double DX7. And with much more algorithms.

And for a price you would never believe.

 

Dexed is free (DX7 emulation).

Thanks for the info, BlackWinny, I've downloaded and installed it as DEMO, seems excellent but unfortunately I can't buy it at the moment (around 50 $US).

I've managed to do the opposite with Crossover and a plugin called wormhole

You can try to find a mac VM and do it that way

 

running any emulator to run an alternative version because the native one is no good never works out.

Some things just weren't meant to be.
