How do I get my fav from nexus 3 to show up in Nexus 4

You can copy the likes.csv from the N3 user folder (C:\Users\Public\Documents\reFX\nexus\ac26c8a59f03e0e07337256f007e0501\) to

C:\Users\Public\Documents\reFX\User Content\nexus\3291ca99f75dadcbd4687456955d698d\

That should do it!

 

Reminder: Don't ask for nor link to warez files.

 

Install 4.5.4 rev2.
Edit the Preference file as per where your Nexus content is.
Don't forget to use '\\' because many people use '\' and start wondering why Nexus isn't seeing the library folder even after editing Preferences.json.
For me, I had N3 content (so 170GB). I added the extras (like Rom Extensions etc) just so, you know...
Some did yeild the 'Replace' action confirmation box. I replaced them. Ofc.

I think the 170GB is strictly N3+ thing and so I don't know why you would call them old.

Also, there's this obsession to change the Avatar.

 

..there is no "old = i dont need" in music (samples)... it should be more like a "genre i dont need" thing...
Also because, if you just use the new rompler stuff, you just sound like anybody else today - which most of the time = boring.
I will always keep my Nexus 2 as an idea pool of "90s stylish" sounds.

 

I've found Nexus Factory Soundbank for Nexus 4 (incl ROM Ext 3 & 4) and Nexus 3 Factory Content Lib (incl Rom Ext & Ext2), which is great.
BUT - the Factory presets in both are identical.
763 of them.

Were there no new Factory Presets for Nexus 4? Are they just using the old ones? Seems strange.

I have modified the json.file
Nexus well sees all the expansions, even the new ones but not all the presets



have someone a clue to help me ?

I think i've got an issue with my network disk.. all is ok when i copy some presets on another local disk.

This turned out to be a tricky install for me! Hadn't tried Nexus since the AIR version from many years ago. Where it got very confusing was with the "preview" and "preset" files. At first, when I thought I was done, I had almost no presets. Had to manually copy them over for each library file from the iso in one of the releases I downloaded (took forever), and now it seems to work. But I'm not sure if I got all of the presets in the correct files. lol, I may have duplicate folders with the same presets floating around my computer. Not certain, but I'm wondering if reFX changed the location of the previews/presets between Nexus versions, is that what's going on??

Anyway, just to be certain, with everything currently available installed I have roughly 760 factory presets, and a total of about 2000 presets altogether. Does that sound right? I'm confused because I see someone on the Ru site saying they have 20,000 presets, so now I'm wondering if I seriously missed something along the way. Also, Should ROMExt, ROMEx2, and Rom show up in the list on the gui? All I see is Rom's 3 & 4.

It should as long as you have separate folders for everything

 

Hello, I have an issue with a Nexus 4 expansions on the reFX.NEXUS.v4.5.4 crack. When I try to load a preset from Trap 4, it says "the expansion for the preset [preset name] is not installed", even though I have all the necessary files (NKS, Presets, and Samples) within my "NEXUS CONTENT" folder. I'm unsure if any other expansions have this problem as well, but hopefully someone knows how to fix this.
I can hear the previews for each preset when single clicking them, but cannot load them.

If you extract preset folder from the iso (include in 170gb collection) correctly that preset folder should contain 187 subfolders for each expansion and contain total 24k preset files.

The expansion that release after 170gb collection (ex Rom 3-4, Festival EDM 2 ) you can install the expansion you have on top of it (preset, nks, samples folder)

Look like it's not found Samples folder or your expansion is missing from Samples folder.
For Trap 4, please make sure that XpTrp4 is place inside your Samples folder.

 

thank you, Thank You, THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!! Geez, I was up till 6:30 AM trying to figure this out. The problem is that because this thread is so long now, I instead relied on translating comments on Ru from Russian to English to try to figure things out, and I see now the translations weren't exactly coming out right. Just read your comment, it quickly became clear, and now I have the 24K presets! Honestly, can't thank you enough, I probably would have been sitting with this for the next 2 weeks trying to understand those damn google translations, and I'd still have it wrong.

 

Interesting, I don't have that in the samples folder even though I downloaded and moved everything from the torrent, I guess I'll go double check the torrent and give an update to see if I somehow missed it.

Update: That's weird, it shows up in the torrent, but somehow didn't make it onto my hard drive, guess I'll redownload the Trap 4 haha, thanks for the help!

I would be interested to compare Nexus directories.
I am unsure if I have mine organized properly.

I use "Snap2HTML" to make a browsable html directory files.
They are good for comparing directories.
One thing to note is that they show symlinks as actual folders, and you can not see if they are symlinks.
That is great for looking at folder structure and sizes even if you have moved the big "samples" folder, etc.
Just keep in mind it is not good for seeing drive space.
(I like "Tree Size Free" for that, but it's can't do a "browsable" report.)
