Here I am again with yet another annoying question :-p
My friend wants to buy me a Real Debrid subscription for Christmas this year. He's really worried it will suspend us both because in the terms and conditions it says you cannot share the account with more than one IP. Technically however he would be making the account, paying for access, not downloading anything himself, and just handing it over for me to use (and paid for).

Hope that makes sense. Just wondering if anyone has done that before? And ye we tried contacting support but no reply.

 

I've used my account details occasionally away from home without any problems or warning notices from Real Debrid. I doubt they give a damn, as long as there are not two different IP addresses using the same account simultaneously.

I always used RD with VPN (which makes sense for some uses..). So the IPs were all over the place. Never had a problem. IIRC, I had to verify the account a couple of times with a code sent to e-mail RD is registered on, but it happened super rarely.

Anyway, even if you use it without VPN or proxy, RD can not rely on your IP unless it is a fixed one and most ISPs don't give you a fixed IP by default. The only no-go thing is possibly what @Paul Pi said - multiple IPs on one acc (at once).
