I will tell you something that utterly baffles me about these KORG synths/softsynths. For all the flexibility in the modulation department (and there really is a lot which I love), they do not have free running LFOs. Why is this? What the? LOL! It utterly baffles me to be quite honest.

Now okay, we can use our DAWs to create LFOs, but then when we switch presets they are still hooked up to the parameters.

Another solution is to use midi CCs and have an LFO plugin before the softsynth to do this, but then the LFO is not stored into the preset. Geeeesh. It is annoying.

I love these products as they sound fantastic, but sometimes I just wanna get a little bit ambient, you know what I mean? There are so many great sounds to be had if we just had free running LFO capabilities. As I say, it is utterly baffling. Smh.

Try using "Sync Notes," which - as long as notes are being played continuously - is the same as a "free-running" LFO.
Also, on the modwave in particular, try using Kaoss Physics as a complex LFO!

I have actually tried both of those things, sadly however... it is not what I want/need. Neither options are the same as free-running LFOs.
