Is it possible to update my legit FL studio with cracked plugins without losing the plugins? Has anyone tested this before?

if the plugins are third-party's (not from I-L) then there's no problem at all

I no longer have any such plugins as all my software is legit. However, what I can advise is that, as long as you have a legit licence for FL Studio, you have a couple of options...

The new authorisation system for FL Studio, is only relevant to authorising the DAW itself. This can be done either online or offline.

If you go the online activation method, just ensure you have an empty template loaded, not populated with other third-party plugins, when you connect online to authorise your FL Studio licence. Once FL Studio has been authorised, you can disconnect from the internet and continue as normal.

Thereafter, if you do still have an active internet connection (and FL Studio has not been specifically blocked from connecting to the internet), FL Studio does now attempt to 'dial home' as such when it's launched. From what I can tell, this is mainly to check and update/download any new MIDI scripts and new "What's New" news items and offers within the relevant panels and 'online content' tab in the browser. However, that's something to keep in mind.

But yeah, as others said, you should be okay so far as FL Studio itself is concerned. Just don't perform any kind of 'Plugin scans' via the Plugin Manager, or open up your non-paid plugins while still online.

I'm currently using a legit FL Studio installation, and so far none of the installed cracked plugins conflict in any way... And there's more than 2k, so I may say that you're safe
