MeldaProduction 16.00 Complete and MeldaProduction 16:02 Free issue

    I have MeldaComplete 16.00 working perfectly on my system. I recently installed the MeldaFree 16.02 update. However, my products are now in demo mode and will not activate with the previously generated (or newly generated) key file using the R2R tool.

    Any ideas?!

    Didn't the Melda suite need patching every update? IIRC there was a patcher that came with the R2R Melda KGen

    It's like @xorome said @Bunford . Besides the license file you have to re-run the R2R patcher to "vaccinate" one dll file that is kind of the core of all Melda plugs.

    The R2R patcher/keygen for Melda has been working since a long time. Perhaps updated for the 16+ versions. So kudos to Meldaproduction for not having over-complicated protection. Like Reaper, now that I think of it.

    I assumed that was the case, but the patcher doesn't do anything and says it can't patch.....and then I closed Cubase and realised opening Cubase seems to lock the file needing to be patched. D'oh!
