US Crazy Tube Circuits release the Unobtanium Dual Overdrive

Crazy Tube Circuits has introduced the Unobtanium, which they describe as a rare sonic element born out of legendary tones. A spokesperson told us, "A mythical overdrive meets the tone and feel of two iconic amplifiers."

Key Features:

• "K" and "D" together in one box - ultra rare sonic elements that are usually "unobtainable"
• "K-style" Channel (right side) – faithful reproduction of the original circuit
• "D-style" Channel (left side) - 2 Dumble-voiced overdrive circuits (Steel String Singer / Overdrive Special)
• Use K and D channels independently or in serial
• Toggle switch or external footswitch (comes as an extra accessory) to switch between the two D amplifier voicings
• Passive series effects loop to connect pedals between the two sections or use them separately as independent effects.

Nice but too expensive, so many cheaper clone out there, i got 2 of em plus zvex fuzz factory and proco rat only for 100$, and.. they sound very good. hehe

 

The tone is important and recognizable, though when playing through a Dumble it's like making love whilst exchanging and entwining souls with your deepest, dearest love, while the striking immediacy of each note coming off of your fingers and born into existence through the birth canal of the speaker cab is the fruition of that love. I guess this'll be more like just hot banging sex with someone you picked up a a bar after drinking 12 shots of tequila. You'll not need wear a condom with the Dumble.
