Yes I have a water cooler Lian Li Galahad-240 and it quite good. Thanks your for the info I really have no need as of now to over clock.
I have a Quantum 2626 so my latency is quite low also. I got the water cooled so I can keep the chip cool even with out over clocking and also in the future if I needed to Overclock I would be safe.

I heard AMD 7950X will have a X3D version (same with 7900X), and they will be announced at CES 2023 in January. The rumor/leak said they will have same or similar clock speeds.

CPU: Intel Core i9-9900KF, watercooled, OC at 4.5 GHz (stable since 2019 for C.M. and games).
    OS: Windows 10 Professional 64-bit (lastest 22H2).
DAW: Bitwig 4.4.4 (online), for tests #2 and #3.

    TEST #1:

TEST #2: I'm too young in Bitwig to understand these values...

TEST #3: having lags on 12th instance (randomly on loop/restart on 10~11th instance, running smooth upto 9 instances).

Your Core i9-9900KF is way more powerful than my FX8320,
so it's kinda strange it only takes one/few more instances.. :dunno:

Can you try it on Reaper?
Maybe there's some substantial difference that we can see..

Perhaps Bitwig (or something inside it, such controller scripts) is/are the culprit... :dunno:

    REAPER 6.71

TEST #2: peak value I've noticed is 2.8%, frequent values are between 2.1 to 2.5%

TEST #3: 90~97% with 16 instances (more instances will cause serious lags, often 100%).

    Hello friends :)
Do you think, it is worth, to upgrade from my i5-3570k to the i7-3770k?
I overvlocked my i5 to 4.2 ghz Base clock. No Hyperthreading available = 4 Cores / 4 Threads
    i7-3770k would have HT = 4 Cores / 8 Threads.
But i read, when i enabled HT, there is no solution to overclock.

So do you think, that the HT on the i7-3770k can help me out?
Serum and DSP in Cubase are eating my CPU :D

    Thank you :)
