    Hi guys

I was frustrated not to see the names of words or syllables from a choir library in the piano roll (midi editor)
Like what we can see in a drum map editor for the names of elements.
I have made my own presets ( still doing it) so I was thinking of sharing it

In the Daw Studio one, we have 2 views of the midi editor :

    1. The classic view

    2. The pitch names view (empty here)

    Now let's take an example

I want to compose choir with requiem pro :

For me ( my workflow)  but especially if i don't know yet the syllables i want to use,  i would prefer to see the names in the piano roll then to try different positions, playing around.
It 's useful when you have already the melody edited in the pianoroll but want to try other combos

Here an example of what I need :

    HOW TO IMPORT THE PRESETS

    Method 1 :

Just drag the pitchlist file in the midi editor window ( on the left side)

    Method 2 :

    1) Copy the pitchlist files in "Documents\Studio One\Presets\User Presets\Pitch Names"  ( PC,  dunno for MAC)

    2) Open the midi editor (f2), then click on the drum icon.

    3) Then click on the wrench icon

Click on the arrow to open the presets then select the file

Ok i hope it will be useful for you :)
    - Some users prefer to create automations with the knob, so i guess u don't need that method
    - Maybe other daw users can open the file with an editor (notepad) and check what can be compatible to create and import the drum map in their daw ?
    - If u see some mistakes , tell me.
    - My projects are first the choir libraries ( requiem pro, requiem light, liberis, Mars ... ) but other libraries if it requieres  to load kits and various instruments  (like stormdrum for kontakt) will follow
    - If i see that people are not interested of course i won't waste more time to share lol
so don't hesitate to post if u like so I can see
    - I will post a message when I update the thread

    Thank you

    THE FILES

    Liberis
    Shevannai
    Requiem Pro
    Requiem Light
    Mercury
