reFX Nexus v3 and v4 (Mac/WiN) workarounds, fixes, crashes, etc

    Since recently you could do that because the preset conversion from Nexus v2 to V3 was done online, but reFX has blocked that feature for cracked N3 and therefore that is not possible anymore. So in order to have old projects with N2 to run in N3 x64 environment you have to recall all the patches all over again because N3 will show error on loading patches made in projects with N2.
    Nexus 3 even can not be registered anymore with cracked license if you are online... Pretty screwed situation, but that is all we have so far ....

    Yeah i need to delete a few. I looked through some and was like okay - this is cool and this. then i worked on something else and tried to remember the preset name. :rofl:
    Then spend 10 mins to find each preset again.

    I delete very often presets. I am not a preset slut :disco::dunno::rofl:

    I guess you already know this, but you can favourite presets, thats really handy for a rompler like Nexus with too many sounds :D

    Somehow I don't use Nexus 3 as much as I thought. Mostly just the really good pads and patches which I can't really replicate in other synths (like the stuff with real instruments or heavy layered stuff).

    Interesting that many people like the previews... I thought they were really annoying, so I deleted all the NKS folders.

    I have updated informations about new Nexus 4.5.4 version and also renamed the Thread to include v4.

    Yeah i know that, that you can fav, but i was just going through the presets as i had installed, so i forgot to fav.

    The pads are really good for adding an other plugin layer on top of them. I mean N2 had a already in the ROM very good pads.

    I hate NKS too, will also delete them, rather load the preset and play with it, on a High Speed SSD not a problem.

    i would love to know how to convert/translate the existing nexus 3 libraries to the new version, cause the plugin itself works like a charm

    EDIT: guys to validate the content you already have, you just need to edit the setting.json file... on the library folder. here what it is---->

    "library_folder": DEFAULT LOCATION, MAY BE VARIABLE BETWEEN COMPUTERS

    "library_folder": "D:\\Librerias\\Nexus 3", --->this is mine

    Does presetes for v3 from the package of 170GB Content released on sister site long time ago works with v4?

    Asking becouse dont know If i have to download it (again).... Or maybe better stay and wait for some CR V.R mega Bundle Content XXXXGB :rofl:

    Should work yes. as the presets were "unpacked" and saved and are not encrypted. I have not tried it yet. Maybe somebody can confirm?

    Well nxp files wont work, need the presets and the NKS files to work. Not sure if the newly shared XP pack are "unpacked".
