I was about to say iZotope's Spektron but that's discontinued as well... Sorry about that. It still works perfectly though.

Just Bumping this thread (created a new one too) as I’m one of those affected by NI’s cease to support service center and the whole activation proceedure for legacy users. I have a mac pro OSX 10.6.8 frozen in time with a bunch of important projects and due to a motherboard fail I now have to activate all my Komplete 7 and a couple extras (all legit/ purchased).

NI support don’t give a rats ass about it… Sucks bigtime to go through all this when you spent your money on a product and suddenly be cut off from using it because of a simple activation. Any workarounds or suggestions please drop me a line. Thanks y’all

This kind of thing is why I have a cracked version of EVERYTHING including all the legit licensed stuff.

    Absolutely unacceptable statement!
Most of VST and VSTi developers produce emulations of ancient hardwares
and sell them to us, and how it could even happened if everybody dropped their "old" gear?
And this is just one of reasons to keep old stuff

It's been years that I've decided to never more purchase any product from NI. Since around 2012-2013 (ten years ago now) I have definitely ceased to purchase the least thing from them. I dare to say that from me it is a true boycott.

The only plugin I keep from them is FM8... but only because I had made many works based on it. It tells how much I loved this synth...

NI is a very original brand : they make (hem,to tell better : they made!) some of the best plugins, but they have one of the worst marketing politics, and with one of the worst respects to the customers. I no longer count the innumerable plugins they abandoned leaving their customers with only their eyes to cry.

The most hilarious is ALL their products ARE on sister site ... so WHY bother their customers ?
Remove useless online protection and roll on !
Same with Waves and a lot of "day one release" companies.
