Ableton 11 Suite 11.2.5 keeps auto-updating

    I'll use the R2R keygen and the software will work for a few hours or so, then I restart and it's asking for a product key again (not taking my .auth file after that)

    Do I have to run the keygen everytime I run Ableton? How do I stop it from updating to the latest version?

    Right after you've installed Ableton,
    Go to
    C:\ProgramData\Ableton\Live 11 Suite\Program
    and delete the file InstallHelper.exe

    then go to
    C:\ProgramData\Ableton\Live 11 Suite\Resources\Extensions\WebConnector
    and delete the files Ableton Swapper.exe & Ableton Web Connector.exe

    That way Ableton cannot update itself anymore, even if auto update is activated in the settings.
