SSL X-Delay is my go-to. But I would wait until it's on sale again for $25. This thing is definitely not worth $200!

 

if you mean a delay plugin with the best controls for Ping Pong type delay, for me :

1. Fabfilter Timeless 3
2. UVI DualDelayX

If you mean the best sounding one, I don't know if it exist, and would like to know as well.

I've always been a fan of this one, mainly because it has some good options like smear and color, as well as 6 delay settings, including ping pong

 

This looks badass. I wish it wasn't Windoz only!

 

Valhalla delay. Many tone options, nice simple interface, can do just about everything.

 

My preferred tap delays, dub delays and ping-pong delays are these free delays:

TAL-Dub I



TAL-Dub II (same page but below, and it has not the same sound color than TAL-DUB-I, you can have both)



TAL-Dub-X (the payware version, with many enhancements, it is the only delay which is not free in this list)



Voxengo Tempo Delay



Stagecraft Delay



Take them all (at least all the free) and choose. Or keep them all. They all are great, and they all provide différent results.

And they all are 64-bit, and they all are for Mac as well as for Windows. TAL-Dub-X is also for Linux.
