- Let say you find 10 audio "specialists" / "experts" (whatever they call themselves)

- You make them listen - blindly, saying that it is a test to differentiate very close studio monitors models or anything like that, don't talk about compression nor audio file formats -, to the same song, in two (or three) different flavors: one is pure 24/96 *.wav, the other a 320kb/s mp3, you coud also add a 256kbs .aac to be sure.

Result: some will prefer the mp3, other one will say that the PCM wave have more "warmness", and a last one that the aac have more harmonics...

 

yep this is the proof of why audiophiles are getting gullible over the years. DLink's products are dirty cheap compare with LinkSYS or other ones.

I would recommend to use audio interface instead rather what Linus bought. for foundations of audio production, also saves your bucks

The vendor of this router has forgotten to say where is the right place in the room to put it in and which position in order for it to sound more pleasant.

In 1982 Sony gave us "perfect sound every time" along with the attitude "all CD players sound the same because digital is digital". This has been refuted and differences in quality between CD players accepted as fact. Next came separate transport and DAC combos under the premise that “all S/PDIF digital audio cables sound the same”… until that too was disproved. Now the border has shifted again. Is digital audio really all ones and zeros? We don't think so, and once you've had a chance to hear the Diamond USB, you won't believe it either.

 

When you use our product your audio will sound subjectively better to you because otherwise you'd have to admit to yourself you're a dumbass and your fragile ego can't take it.

These things are for people who fear to make bad choices, they know they are losers that's why they always try to buy expensive products that make them less insecure at least.
But this product doesn't even look fancy. I know the audiophile hdmi and usb cables don't either but come on! a D-Link switch? These swindlers should have chosen at least a Netgear or Linksys that look better. Or rather choose a noname Chinese brand...
