They say that, based on the NT-USB, the NT-USB+ is a professional-grade USB microphone loaded with next-generation features. Never thought Rode of all brands would go down the usb mic route but it might not be so bad. I love the Rode NT-1 and NT-5.

 

Rode comes up trumps, with a very high quality standard and prices that are below the competition.
I think they do USB because they can and there is a market for it.
