Hello Forum!

I was always interested in the slower and "smoother" side of Jazz music but I am not familiar with enough artists and labels.
I am looking for artists ( and labels) from the past and the present. If you have any recommandations that would be nice.
Please dont lead me into the direction of those "Smooth Coffee Jazz Lounge" stuff on Youtube, thats mainly just "Construction Kit" music.

Paul Hardcastle is a great artist for smooth jazz. Paul made one of the first smooth jazz songs ever. His song Rain Forest is a must have listen. Herb Albert's rise is also a great track. You might recognize parts of the song because a certain rapper sampled it
