Hi there,
I needed that sound when string players drop their bow on the floor for my new track, it's quite an exquisite effect and to my knowledge, rarely used, so I took my never used violin bow and let it fall on the floor from 1 metre. This way I recorded 60 samples, which were then positioned to get the desired effect of all players dropping their bow at once. It sounds quite authentic.
Anyway I rendered 5 stereo mixes, 60 wet samples (Teldex IR) and 60 dry samples. Even though it's experimental stuff, I can imagine this might be handy to someone (and not just Someone).
All recorded and mixed at 96kHz 24bit
