Hey guys so i have alot of the ddmf cracks from audioz. love them.

I want to buy Plugin doctor 2.0 since its not updated on audioz.

However since the cracks requires to block outgoing

I would need a proxy or something to access the website.

Is there a way i can keep the cracks and buy plugin doctor 2.0? and have them work together okay? THnx

Thanks good tip. I block outbound connections with Windows Firewall Control (From malwarebytes). Your referring to blocking the .dll right?

Nope, I'm blocking the exe of every audio app (PD, DAW, stand alone, audio editor, ...).

 

good overall approach i like it. Since i want to keep reaper being able to update blocking dll is sufficient too?

 

Firstly, I can update my legit Reaper because only the exe is blocked in the firewall rules. I can access their homepage anytime without problems. So this still works. I just can't update it from within the DAW, but that's not a drawback to me since I'm not updating it immediately with a new version anyways (I wait a week or so to see if they screwed something up).

Well, a dll is basically an exe but I'm not sure whether blocking it is sufficient, I've never tried that. We have smarter guys in this regards here, like for instance @Xupito.
