I need an external SSD (yes, another one! :D). Ideally NVME + casing but I don't really care much about high-end, average SSD transfer rates are just fine.

Sorry, I forgot to mention that I rather want a cheap but reliable one that neglects having top speed.
I was thinking of the Crucial X6, currently 150€ für 2TB on Amazon, would you guys get it?

SanDisk Extreme 2TB Portable SSD costs 200€ but wouldn't getting an internal SSD + casing be cheaper in this case?
I wanta 2 TB drive at least, could you guys tell me which spare parts I should buy to put it together?

I like Sandisk extreme portables. come in diff sizes , good quality tho SanDisk has always been reliable for me

 

Basically anything SanDisk, Crucial or Samsung will do.
NEVER had a problem for years and years.
NVME is better if you can.
