any free guitar amp vst?

    i'm aware blue cat audio has free amps in its freeware bundle

    More than anyone could care to list!

    In my very subjective opinion, the very best free amps are made by VTarAmps.
    NaLex (only the ones with the pretty GUI), AuroraDSP Goblyn, ML Sound Labs Roots are definitely popular too.

    IMO the best option for free is to get TH-U Overloud Beat edition (get a PDF copy of Beat Magazine #186 for the password) + the 15 or so free amps VTarAmps has made.

    I guess IK Multimedia ToneX CS is an option too.
