Reaper Daw - Apply effects to specific midi note (for example C4) without splitting midi?

    Reaper Daw - Apply effects to specific midi note (for example C4) without splitting midi?

    You mean an audio effect? Within a chord, impossible, if it's a single note, with track automation.

    you can sidechain midi filter so following effects apply only to certain range of notes

    make another copy of that midi item.

    original copy: Delete all c4
    new copy: Only keep c4

    apply fx to new copy

    Wondering why you'd want C4 (or whatever) to sound different from the other pitches?! :unsure:
    I'm sure there must be a good reason!
