Check emvoice (currently on sale). Not too expensive. It requires internet connection to work, though. Check the demos. https://emvoiceapp.com/

I believe that atm, nothing can compare to Synthesizer V, especially for english singers, with the Solaria voice database.
    Here's one of many examples:

Just caught on to something I saw recently. That new outfit 'RESPEECHER' who dubbed in 'Young Luke's Voice' (Mark Hamill) and 'Young Darth Vader's' voice (James Earl Jones) for both the Mandalorian and Obi Wan Kenobi by using voice models of their younger selves seems to have 'singing with another's voice' in the works going on now too! This fellow's accent is a little thick, but you get the idea - pitch for pitch, but voice to another voice pretty flawlessly. Scary stuff!

Yep. Just like these deep fake videos with some guy replacing his face with Tom Cruise's. But for voice. Amazing and scary at the same time.

Solaria sounds amazing! Several years ago I used Vocaloid 2 but the pronunciation was rubbish; okay for "oohs" and "aahs" but not much else. (But of course the demos sounded great.) I wonder how much programming is needed to get results like this?

Thanks for the pointer, I've downloaded the freebies and will try them out when I get "a round tuit".

She sang so naturally that post production needed autotune for every syllable.
At least it sound like that. I don't understand why can't they blend the voice better between the notes.

Reading this thread I checked that Emvoice One and it's pretty promising. The only issue there is that those voices gets boring after a few songs. Or perhaps just the demos have boring melody. The Take Me Away song sounds cool though.

Sentient AI does sound a bit "scary" I guess. This sounds like someone might feed it the dictionary and make like 2000 New Beard sample packs to upload about 25 meg at a time.

And singers can't blame these tech, rather the auto-tuned generation who has screwed the respect for musicians. I hope it will result that singers will be forced to have really good voice singing in tune. The competition (with AI tech) will be tougher every time, so you will have to show something unique to worth it for the audience.
The fight will be between artificial and artisan.

There is nothing better than Synthesizer V available to the public. NOTHING... These 2 AI libraries for SynthV still blow me away with how far we've come. My guess, 4-5 years we'll be hearing 100% AI vocals of some songs on the radio.

Text to Speech - Singing Synth - VSTi - Standalone

    1.) Text to Speech v1.3 VST : VST Speek ! - Windows 32 & 64
VST Speek is a free vocal synthesis VST plugin for recreating the old skool robotic text to speech we all love. Choose a preset, type any text and let’s speak !
    https://blog.wavosaur.com/text-to-speech-vst-vst-speek/

    2.) Plogue - chipspeech VST
chipspeech is a vintage-styled speech synthesizer which recreates the sound of famous 80's voice synthesis chips.
    www.plogue.com/products/chipspeech.html

    3.) AnalogX - Syit v2.04
Are you ready to dazzle and amaze your friends by generating custom computer synthesized speech? Yes, I know it sounds almost like a dream too wonderful to be true, but your computer just needs a nudge in the right direction... With AnalogX SayIt!
Inspired by that evil device many of us were tormented by as children, the Speak&Spell, AnalogX SayIt gives your computer a synthesized voice to rival that of Colossus (from the movie Colossus: The Forbin Project). Type in any word or phrase, set the sliders to the appropriate settings, and click the 'Render' button - out pops a nice little wave file. Or, if you are just playing around, use the 'Preview' button and hear what it sounds like. It's that simple.
AnalogX SayIt outputs 16-bit wave files, and can handle phrases up to 500 characters, more than enough for your average computer speech needs.

4.) Yamaha - Vocaloid (Singing Synth)
Vocaloid uses Frequency-Domain Singing Articulation Splicing and Shaping, a vocal (singing voice) synthesizing system developed by Yamaha.
With this system, the "Singing articulations" (Collections of voice snippets, such as phrases, and snippets of vocal expression variations like vibrato) needed to reproduce vocals are collected from custom produced recordings of accomplished singers and put into a database after conversion into frequency domains.

5.) Synthesizer V marks the first singing synthesizer that uses a hybrid AI/sample concatenation engine.
    https://dreamtonics.com/en/synthesizerv/

6.) Emvoice - Emvoice One VSTi - Free (voices purchased separately)
Please note: Emvoice One is a cloud-based plugin and requires an internet connection to install and to run.
Emvoice One is a vocal synthesizer plugin (VST/AU) that generates vocal lines from scratch.
Program notes and type words and phrases to generate sung vocals in your DAW, or use MIDI, then create glissando and vibrato patterns with note editing, then choose custom pronunciation and stylization options to tailor the performance.

I decided to give Solaria a go on an original song. I hate reading manuals and got bored after three paragraphs, but for my first attempt, things look promising.
