PreSonus Studio One 6 Add-Ons, Extensions & Licenses problem.

    Hello to All...

    As always, the installation of Studio One 6 R2R Release was nice and ease. No problem at all.

    But the New Add-Ons and Collections of New Plugins do not activate with the selected Licenses generated from the R2R KeyGen in my Sistem.
    Studio One (in off-line mode) do not reconizes the Licenses. I never had such problem before... A bit strange to me I must say.

    I made an complete cleaning of PreSonus previus installation, uninstalling all v5.5 and remove "%PROGRAMDATA%\PreSonus\" and "%APPDATA%\PreSonus\".
    The Studio One 6 is running just fine, but the problem with the Add-Ons Activation with Licenses remain.

    PreSonus StudioOne / PreSonusHub Release

    If you need complete cleaning of PreSonus installation, uninstall all and remove
    "%PROGRAMDATA%\PreSonus\"
    "%APPDATA%\PreSonus\"

    If you just need to remove licenses, delete *.license files in above directories.
    0.Uninstall previous version.
    1.Install StudioOne.
    2.Run StudioOne.
    Close login window and start offline authorization.
    3.Run our keygen on Windows.
    Copy MachineID to the keygen.
    4.Generate licenses.

    5.Authorize StudioOne by using "studioapp*.pro.license".
    If you want to authorize StudioOne5, "studioapp5.pro.license" is your choice.
    Authorize Extensions by using other licenses.
    If you want to authorize PreSonusHub, copy "presonushub.license" to "%PROGRAMDATA%\PreSonus\PreSonus Hub\"
    6.Enjoy!

    Tips:
    Generated licenses are linked to the license of main application.
    If you want to activate additional contents, you need to generate & reauthorize all.
    You can reauthorize from the StudioOne menu items.

    Tips:
    You can authorize extensions by drag & drop multiple *.license files to StudioOne GUI.
    Or just copy all extension license files to "%PROGRAMDATA%\PreSonus\License Store\".

    Thanks for replay... I tryed several times this R2R directions, but the results still the same. This is not usual I think... Something is blocking the process in my Sistem... I dont use Anti-Virus and I'm using NetLimiter 4 instead Windows Firewall, and the process runs off-line... But thanks anyway my friend...

    Hello @transporter1333, please uninstall Studio One completely and then restart the PC and reinstall again as per R2R's instructions.


    Uninstalling on a PC

    Uninstall Studio One from the Start menu (Method 1)

    1. Right click the Start button and go to Apps and Features

    2. Scroll down to the Studio One application and select the app, then select Uninstall.
    Uninstall Studio One from the Settings page (Method 2)

    1. Select Start, then select Settings > Apps > Apps & features.

    2. Select Studio One from the list, and then select Uninstall.
    Uninstall Studio One from the Control Panel>Programs (Method 3)

    1. In the search box on the taskbar, type Control Panel and select it from the results.

    2. Select Programs > Programs and Features.

    3. Press and hold (or right-click) on Studio One and select Uninstall or Uninstall/Change. Then follow the directions on the screen.
    Removing files from the ProgramData Folder

    1. Please browse to the following directory c:\ProgramData\PreSonus. You may need to enabled hidden files on your Windows system, Step 2 from the following article will help : https://support.presonus.com/hc/en-...pens-after-entering-your-credentials-Windows-

    2. Please select the Studio One folder you wish to remove and delete. Please note if you have other PreSonus applications installed then they will also appear here so please ensure you are removing the Studio One folder.

    2. Please select the Studio One folder you wish to remove and delete.     how did you get S1 in off-line mode?
    when opening S1 there are 3 panels, do you see anything in the right hand (newsfeed) 3rd panel? (this should be empty if off line)

    on my PC only Ueberschall Impact Drums works on S1v6 other soundsets or extensions dont work on S1v6...
    all others only work at S1v5...

    Do you have Windows ?

    You can do this with the "Firewall
    - You define "An incoming rule".
    - You define "An Outgoing Rule".
    After that the annoying newsfeed is empty.

    you also have to remove users/username/appdata/roaming/presonus before reinstall.

    yes I am on windows, you also stated you are using 3rd party firewall software, does that also exclude S1 (both in and out)?
     
  13. Not sure if it relates to the problem your having with S1, but I went through something similar to what you're experiencing awhile back. I had S1 blocked in what for me at the time was a new firewall. That 'block' disallowed S1 from making any internet connections at all. With it set up that way lots of software that was to work in conjunction with S1 wouldn't work properly, or at all. I couldn't figure out what had gone wrong. I tried a number of things before stumbling on setting it up in my firewall for a "lan only" connection. On my firewall that means it can make any connection it wants as long as its within my lan, but if it tries to connect to anything outside of my lan S1 is then blocked. With it set up like that everything suddenly worked fine with S1.

    I don't know if the firewall setup you have has a 'lan only' setting. If not, try disconnecting your router so that all your internet access is entirely off. Then undo any firewall blocking you have on S1. Then see if things work properly. If that does the trick, you need to figure out how to have a more limited internet block on S1, while still allowing it to communicate with other software within the lan. Good luck!

    A firewall always remains a firewall, regardless of the manufacturer.

    All this steps are done, includind erase the PreSonus Data in Registry... But till now still the same.

    Thanks for always helping... realy appreciate that.

    NetLimiter 4 allows you to choose it, and yes... Its possible to block "In" and "Out"...

    Like BEAT16 mention, it is possible the problem envolves my 3rd Party Firewall... I'll try something diferent with it tomorow, changing the Firewall configuration, if works, I'll replay here...
