There's always a dichotomy when it comes to free plug-ins:
The freebie is nice but it will nuke any warez releases from the same company.
Are you willing to buy their plug-ins from now on instead of using new releases?
Morals, ethics and personal responsibility complicate things immensely.
Not to mention financial considerations

 

You don't have to have all their plugins, and if you're smart enough you can even get some of the paid ones for free (like I did with Convolver, Slice EQ and Carve EQ). I have 38 of their 42 plugins and paid only 80 dol for Phase Plant in total. I think it's reasonable.

 

That's actually a pretty good delay! No frills, logically designed, quick to use. A real workhorse. And it's free. Great!
