Ah, that was really interesting to read!

I went ahead and made a single sample convolution test NKI, loaded a bunch of copies of it into Kontakt 5, 6 and 7 and looked at Reaper's performance meter.

At least on my system, not much has changed for convolution.

Interesting, it's basically the same. I must be wrong then and it keeps using the same FFTW library. I'll recheck that thing, unfortunately my Windows partition blew up shortly after installing Kontakt 7 and getting that info.

So where the speed improvement comes from? Did NI coders actually work hard at something themselves? Shocking
