This publisher has a huge catalog of libraries. I have tens of them. So, if you have enough of these libraries that you want in a collection, here's the wallpaper(s).

Overtime, many earlier posts have either been removed or bunched together in such a way that they no longer can be located using the search feature. I've seen that first hand. If you cannot find these posts, perhaps that might be the problem.

I think that this might have happened NYCGRIFF. I've tried a host of different searches, but could not locate a single one of these instrument wallpapers...big pity.

 

Easiest way to create thumbnail images for missing folder pictures in thumbnail view in KONTAKT 7 in 5 steps with minimal pain.

Contrary to a lot of what I read I did this instead and it worked 100% of the time. For those who do not want blank folders.
I decided to make myself the crash test bunny.

Every image resides here for ones that do display in Windows. (MAC someone else will have to say the location but the principle is identical).
C:\Users\Public\Documents\NI Resources\image

HOW TO:
1. Create a folder using the identical name in the nicnt file.
2. Copy all files from inside a folder either side into the new folder.
3. Rename the META file in the new folder to the nicnt name of the new folder.
4. Open the META file in the new folder, and in the library name, change to the nicnt name of the new folder.
5. LAST replace the images in the new folder with your own.

*NOTE - You still need the wallpapers in wallpaper view that are kindly put forward here by NYC Griff, pasi and all others too numerous to mention for multiple library loading mode.

You are welcome. Someone has to crash-test it. I figured that I had started and I should finish so it may as well be me.

 

Here are some of them I have done. The fab artists on here can CERTAINLY do a lot better but they're thumbnails. I put a red arrow for the ones that were blank folders that I created as per the post information above. It satiates the part of me that does not like blank spaces where images are supposed to reside. I do not know if that is COD or just plain meticulousness - perhaps even a bit of both.
For the screenshot piccies - I opened a browser, typed the name of the library and went to their site. They have pictures you can screen capture which does for the moment until a better solution comes along.

 

Hi Downald: It points up to the fact that I mentioned. Many of the early wallpapers (a few years ago) have been lost or somehow mangled in such a way that they can no longer be located using the conventional search method. I'll work on doing what I can to get some of your requests done.

 

Ok Downald here are few of your requests. I moved the text slightly to the right on these. I thought it look little nicer cause there is no company names. Also changed the name to Electronic drums. I can undo that and also the text alignment if you wish.

UPDATE TO KONTAKT 7 Images - Even simpler.

Two steps ONLY - Makes it easy for the Wallpaper gurus here

1. After navigating to C:\Users\Public\Documents\NI Resources\image, create a folder using the name of your nicnt file.
2. Create an image of your displaying choice image inside named "MST_artwork.png" (no inverted commas)

That is it.

The default image size which we all agree is ludicrous considering we theoretically have 8K now, is 134 x 66 pixels.
I have made bigger and had no issues but that is the default thumbnail size.
