    Logic 10.6.3

I’ve been trying to get superior and/or ezdrummer 3 cracks running correctly for a looong time.

    1. Superior drummer: I’ve come further now than ever before. Finally solved the missing midi pack error. Now it says partial install at library path. The issue that it seems to be causing at first glance is I only have like 3 drum kits but I have tons of expansions.
    1. Ezdrummer3: after installing ezdrummer 3.0.4 I receive the message ezdrummer core library not installed. Well I have it but I don’t know how to install it? I have the cOre library downloaded but what do I do with it?
Are there step by step instructions for this? I either want it working or wanna delete the 200+ gb (preferably working).

The way I saw it first explained where it actually worked (easily), was to create a folder /ezdrummer and then stick everything into it. So /Midi and any /EZX expansion folders, everything all in there, expanded correctly. Then point the installers at all the correct locations during installation of the plugin. I'd probably even codesign all of it preemptively. When tried that way, it worked first attempt. I don't use them, but only because they are bigger than I need.

Does it matter where it is? I know with waves it HAS to be in your documents>name folder? And just dump expansions, all of it into one folder and then everything to it?

I haven’t seen anything Yet with codesign code and I’m not on m1. Will that help?

    I'm on a M1 Macbook Air and Logic 10.7.4
I'm not sure but I hear that EZdrummer will only work when installed in proper location which is: Library/Application Support/Toontrack/Ezdrummer 3
I installed there and all working as expected.

I'm on Intel also. I have /ezdrummer as a root directory on an usb external hard drive. The EZ Drummer plugin and it's data are installed normally during installation. But you have to point it to the Core Library and expansions during installation process of the plugin. So you are just showing it where to find the files, with them already extracted and put where they are going to live. (Similar to an old Waves install method)

The plugin has to be inside /Plugins/Components to work inside Logic. Otherwise the copies live inside /VST and /VST3 like normal. All the other data just goes where the installer puts it by default. The original 1 main folder becomes about 30 gig, or more with other EZX expansions, by the time everything is setup inside it. Following this general way of doing the install, every expansion in the main folder is working the first time you open the plugin. I watched them screw with this for years in forum threads for exactly this reason (looked like a pain). Like Omnisphere almost, never ending updates, etc.

There is/was no specific instruction to Codesign the files. I just mentioned that I would do so. The installation instructions with the release you use should cover it anyway.

Everything stays in the original folder you put it in to start with.

I have everything (prolly 3 times honestly). I think I’ve put shit here and then put shit there thinking it would solve the partial install error my best bet is to DNR it all and start fresh.

    Thanks for everyone s help.
