After numerous problems with Kontakt 7 and Cubase 12, I decided to completely rebuild my system.
I will try it on a clean Windows with the Bob Dule Kontakt 7 Rev.3 version in the hope that the crashing of Cubase will stop.

How do I add my librarys to Kontakt 7 ?
Either via the tool from Bob Dule from the six version or via the R2r tool Kontakt Manager , does it matter which tool I use for this ?

Also a second question, I have already installed all Kontakt libraries, so I mean also the Kontakt libraries that come with an ISO and a Native Instruments installer.

Do I necessarily have to reinstall them or can I also add them again via one of the two tools?

 

In Kontakt 7 go to the settings, choose libraries and click the Launch Library Tool button, klick on add library and select the folder where all your libraries are
...now let the tool do the magic!

 

on a fresh system you should re install your libraries from ISO's.
1 - to get them installed without the need of anything.
2 - to get the PAResources installed.

in other case
you have to backup from the older system
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Native Instruments
C:\Users\Public\Documents\NI Resources
to get the graphic part.
have also a look in
C:\Users\user name\Documents\Native Instruments
to backup user presets or snapshots from some libraries.

the RAS3 licenses should match if you use the same machine\drive serial
C:\Users\Public\Documents\Native Instruments\Native Access\ras3
if you use another machine or drive location, it can need a new registration.

R2R manager add licenses more for all official NKS libraries.but it will not add custom libraries.
Add library tool (from K5) don't use RAS3 emulation, but it will add custom libraries more.

you can use both, generated licenses are only needed if you use the R2R Kontakt original.

That's usually the way but for me now everytime i click on Launch Library Tool it points to native access...
