I would get a similar buzzy sound with a synth then play it repeatedly on a keyboard using the pitch bend wheel until I can reproduce the bend, then record the midi. Then refine the sound.

I'd use a guitar vst that has slide samples. Its a small slide up and a long down slide.

Or literally take 10 seconds and pick up a guitar and just do it. I mean honestly. If you can't go "whooom!" On a guitar... just quit. :rofl:if you don't have a guitar, borrow one for an afternoon.

That said, most guitar libraries have a slide articulation.

This. I assume you don't have a guitar so you can try programming slides in the riffer on Ample quite easily if you have it. Or, if you have any vst/library that has slide samples. Short slide up to longer slide down and run it through an amp with heavy overdrive. Please try reading the manual for whatever VST/Library you use.

The problem with programming the slide is reproducing the feel, even for such a tiny fragment of audio. Playing it is always the best option.

I can't show you an image of such a thing. This is something you learn by doing yourself and it's a crucial skill worth developing.

I tried slide with Ample guitar, but it doesn't sound even similar.

It is slide as I guessed. But it's tricky to apply it with midi.

There are also many useful hints for realistic guitar MIDIs in this Shreddage 3 tutorial (pitch bend @ 6:10, slide right after):
