I've found putting prices on simply leads to people looking for cheaper options. I'll have to think about this.. Maybe I'll try it for a short time.

BTW - while we are on the subject - what would you consider a fair price for mastering?

 

Oh, I understand that you don't want to scare anyone off either. But it also depends on the project, to put "quotes" on a website is asking for a headache that way too. I think if someone was Google shopping around like you mention, 100-200 per song wouldn't necessarily scare anyone off. You could really be 50 or 5000, and the visitor to your site doesn't know which they are getting into. You could always just do that after you listen to the file they provide. idk. I read a few of the blog posts and so on. the site is nice.
