can you use legit Maschine 2 with cracked expansions

    no, sorry.
    But why should you?!
    Cracked version of Maschine runs just like legit one. And you can always go back to legit if you need most recent version.

    You can but it takes some work. After installing, you have to first load each sound (.mxsnd), group (.mxgrp), and project (.mxprj) into a cracked version of Maschine and save them as new files, maintaining names and file structure. I have the cracked Maschine on a separate computer and copy over these files on the legit one after resaving.

    Because as soon as I update from Mojave to Big Sur, Machine component and VST etc don't work anymore

    if it is an intel, why would you update Mojave? You are creating your own problem for no reason.
