reaper daw - stop playback [solved]

    so i know u can stop the project playback with spacebar

    but sometimes that leaves an echo still going on for a few seconds after u stop

    is there a way to cut out that too for faster complete stop of volume basically. (an action i would prefer rather than changing preferences)
