Hello . I am a 1st year student of music technology department. I started such an instrumental project in my spare time from school. There are 5 projects on the channel right now, I'm curious about your ideas.

I'm on the first one and it's giving me such good vibes, I love the guitar riff and smooth drums. The production (mix and master) are very well done as well. What did you do exactly on this project and did you use a sample or you played the instruments?

 

I'm on the second one (which I don't like as much as the first), and something I forgot to tell is that sometimes your loops are very long. Some more variation and chilling sections at some points would make it even better I believe.

I listened to the first one. It sounds good. I think I might like to hear the ride cymbal a couple dB softer, or maybe just some more of it sent to your reverb. It stands out as a little more upfront than the rest of the mix to me. I'd probably just try a few different things out. Anyway, Nice work

Agree, nice guitar playing, but in terms of arrangement (the tracks with drums and boards), really need some work. But you're only in the first year, lol.. I'd work together with other students (drummers & keyboard players), create & learn together.
I also prefer 'Hold the Full Glass Upside Down' (such a waste!).
