Hi guys, I would like to say a few words about these drums. In general, everything is fine.

BUT HOW COULD I GIVE A FREE PACKAGE WITH ONE BD !? OOONE BD !?
YOU SEE INTERFACE WITH ONE BASS DRUM !?

It's just not serious, why couldn't you do both bass drums... I'm serious, it's just a fiasco.
Perhaps this is due to covid, and there were not enough materials.

Edit: Add a double-pedal VST before the plugin. ;) I'm sure the single kick samples are round-robin.

Also, no band has ever used just one kickdrum to get into Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

I was expecting an answer like this. But when anyone downloads a drum instrument,
in the form of a plugin of course - they don't just download free samples, they don't download simple drum samplers.
A person downloads this because of the convenience and the ability to play,

Even today's children's music uses a double BD, and that would be convenient!.
I wrote this not because of stupidity, and not to find a bad argument,
It's just that it would be more beautiful and convenient!

 

I mean, it's a plugin, you can get a double pedal sound out of it no problem. If you want double kick to have two kick sounds, that's one extra instument and probably not fit for "free" anymore.

Also, are you crazy? What are they gonna sell for expansions if they just gave you another kick?

 

Indeed, if they give a second BD, they won't be able to sell it as an extension.

What annoys me are any vsti drums that are lacking any pieces.
It's why I only use as templates in Superior Drummer kits that have 5 toms.
Sure, you don't need 5 toms, but if you get halfway through composing a song and WANT one more tom, you are screwed.
MOST of Ezdrummer and Superior Drummer kits lack various pieces, but having those kits installed lets one use their pieces within one's own full kit.
You can't do Rush with a Zeppelin kit.
As for double-bass setups, for my use there is enough variation within the single-piece kits, but once I realized, I switched my template to a double-bass, 5 tom setup.
I'd like to have "drag-in" capability and/or just build a kit from scratch, but Toontrack went the other way, opting for vintage stanky old piss-stained carpet and bullshit laying all around my drum studio instead of more drums.

 

Look at metal and prog EZX kits
Rush is not Rock and Roll : it is prog rock

Even the first DfH got 5 toms and 11 cymbals pieces ... and 2 kicks

Forget about "rock" word : when a kit use 5 toms, 10-12 cymbals, it is not possible to associate it soundwise with "rock".

You will not get the same sound with Led Zep and Rush kits.
So now you understand my first sentence : Rush is prog rock NOT rock
Led Zep is rock NOT prog rock

Impossible to make a Led Zep kit sounding like Rush ... but the opposite too.

With last EZD, it is not a problem : you can mix and match what you want.
But you will still have trouble with fat Led Zep sound on 5 toms

Metal / Prog = gated/shaped sound
Classic Rock = open/fat sound

classic rock mix on metal prog = a mess
metal prog mix on classic rock = no balls


There is a reason why things are what they are

 

Any existing piece in a kit can be altered to achieve desired type.
My point is that, if a kit has NO PIECE to alter, it makes it impossible to create a kit that needs it.
One can always opt to NOT USE an existing piece (and unload any assigned samples, so the piece appears as a "ghost").

it’s like you didn’t have enough kit and you just decided to save money.
It's a little hard to explain, but it's as weird as drinking a warm beer after a wild sauna party.....

Indeed, the modular kit assumes that there are at least some modules.
I think it will be extremely difficult to get a second bass drum from the manufacturer!

Probably if this guy, hmmm, reads this, he will think that I'm crazy, and I'm just talking fabulous things,
it's such a rarity in our food age ....

I should be happy that he gave a hi-hat!!!

Even SSD FREE, has only one bass drum .., but at least there is a bigger set)
And the carpet is not so pissed,
.....he probably washed it....

But there is a different sound, so it's better not to rush to conclusions...

I couldn't answer for a long time because I was busy. I need my own sound, with two bass drums that sound like a cardboard box.
Such a modern, tone-on-tone sound for light pop-rock. That's why I talked about it.
I shoveled everything I could, but this kit with one bass drum turned out to be the most suitable for squeezing out the result I needed, without that processing and EQ it sounds just like typical drums. But now everything is normal, thanks for the answers Pif-Paf!


I want to say that I found a way to get the result I needed, I shot these samples in soundfont format, and use them separately in a more flexible application.
Thanks to the developer for good samples!,
but this free interface is not suitable even for a demo.

Perhaps this will be useful to someone - you can use ESC (Extreme Sample Converter)
to shoot these samples and use as you like, it's much more convenient if you have your own idea of a drum kit.

(Don't forget that some KNOWN samplers may also use this format, )

The soundfont format (sf2) is a very old format and of very poor quality compared to the standards of today. It remains used by some samplers (even known as you say) but simply to avoid the pure abandon of these old files.

I try to pick up what you need, since there is no specific information,
I experiment with it.)
