Quantum is a fully algo reverb. There were no such things in 60s, only spring and plate reverbs. Also Weiss is a fully digital console. yet again, no such thing in the 60s.

 

I know and you're right. But since Valhalla Plate and Room can be used and are fully algo too and IRs are allowed, I see no problem with that. The main challenge is about tape and only one channelstrip - and that's uncommon enough nowadays, right?

Question. Will it be ethical for me to reapply for the contest with a new version of the mix? Nothing have changed in a project structure, it's the same four plugins (Satin, American Class A, Transatlantic Plate and Echo Cat), the same instances, just different settings and balance and a bit of new automation to fix things that annoyed me.
