    Gershon Kingsley - Popcorn

"Popcorn" (originally spelled "Pop Corn") is an instrumental composed by Gershon Kingsley in 1969 for the album Music to Moog By on Audio Fidelity Records label. The title is generally written as one word, although some single sleeves (such as the one illustrated) present it as two words, "Pop Corn". In 1972 the Kingsley band First Moog Quartet rerecorded the song and it was added to the album "Popcorn" of the same year.

Mine too... Not just as the song it is but also if you listen to individual instruments and the parts they play.

Incredible Disco track - well ahead of its time with House elements although House was not invented yet.

The Seminal Synths of Disco / Era-defining sounds in classic tracks - 20/09/22

Reverb have just released a look back at the synths which defined Disco in the late 1970s. This in depth look goes over some of the era-defining tracks and the influential sounds which made them possible - featuring the Moog Modular, PPG Wave, Oberheim OB-X, Prophets, ARP Odyssey and more. https://reverb.com/uk/news/the-synths-of-disco

    Space — Magic Fly (1977)

One such band was Space—formed by Didier Marouani in 1977, the band had a massive hit with “Magic Fly” that same year. Performing in space suits and with a heavy sci-fi influence, they helped spearhead the short-lived but influential genre of space disco.

For their first album, also titled Magic Fly, the group made use of whatever synths they could get their hands on—this included aminiKorg 700 preset monosynth, ARP Axxe and Odyssey, as well as what Marouani has called a Korg String Ensemble and Korg Horns Ensemble—likely a PE-1000 and PE-2000, Korg’s first polyphonic instruments.

Once they had their hit, they later upgraded their studio to includeKorg PS-3300,Sequential Circuits Prophet-5 and 10, OberheimOb-Xa,Sequential Prp One, and PPg Wave II.
