anyone know where I could get Ozone 5 from? Can't find it on the sister site and im not sure where i could find a reliable and safe download.

For Windows the best is the Assign release without emulators. My opinion. Good Luck.

I have searched high and low but cant find this : iZotope.Ozone.5.Advanced.v5.02.x86.x64-ASSiGN

I download the one on rutracker but its a different version and a couple of steps into instal it has a very weird installation selections window os 3Dmax vray something something... like 6 boxes to check each with sub files. I have no idea what any of it is, if or what I need or will do to my system. theres no checkbox for "ozone 5" and no way to select nothing and go to next step.

it would be awesome if someone can pm me a link or post here?

It really is rather tone-deaf for a dev to ignore the massive outcry for Ozone5. It has features that just aren't in any other versions and they really should re-release v5 somehow.

 

My dumb question for the day,

What is so great about Ozone 5? is it infused w/ psychoactive THC or something?

I'm fine rocking my copy of Ozone 9 Elements I got for free and no money for Izotope.

It had some multi band imaging things that were one of a kind, and the mastering reverb was cool to name a few v5 features

 

I am 90% music and 10% mixing. A mixidiot, I'd say, lol.. In my view untill around v5 Ozone was a tool for pros. You know, those really good at mixing that invest in room treatment, monitors and have shitload of experience. And I am really OK /w it.. I like to make music and annoy mix engineers ..;)

Now they are trying to convince anyone with a pair of ears, they can mix and even master. Because, obv you want to sell the tools to masses.. And yes, I have the latest Ozone, following the balance sausage or whatever.. I feel like mastering eng

Sort of.. but if you're a real badass, you use Ozone 4, infused with psychoactives from WWII

old projects + ozone5 his really suitable for me.

 

I used Ozone 5 in a lot of old projects on a previous computer and iZotope.Ozone.5.Advanced.v5.05b.Incl.Emulator-R2R won't activate because it can't find the iLok drivers. The settings load, but in demo mode. iZotope.Ozone.5.Advanced.v5.02.x86.x64-ASSiGN works, but doesn't recall any of my project settings.

I have the newest version of iLok installed and don't want to mess up new versions of iZotope products so would love to get this v5.0.5b.CHAOS version if anyone has it.

 

i have ozone 5 advanced somewhere on disc aswell as izotope Alloy which was zero latency!

Thanks! Unfortunately it has the same issue as the R2R one and seems to need legacy iLok drivers. PACE says to install "InterLok Driver Setup Win64.exe" in their installer folder but it's not included.

Anyway, while my issue isn't solved at least I'm not looking for a hard to find version thinking it'll work.
As long as I can get my settings recalled, I'll just manually replace Ozone 5 plugins with new versions. PITA, but likely better long-term.

 

I'd love to use alloy. But i can't find a working ver. since R2R has this iLok stuff. I have ozone 5, by far the best 2buss channel strip ever. I don't even fuck with the newest versions. But the 5 is a powerhouse with a friendly interface and much easier to tweak, and low cpu
