well, we all understand you don't like the company. that's fair, there are plenty of other developers out there you can spend your money on :)
spreading the deal is bad, i just don't think so. deals come and deals go. that's why its called a deal i guess?
if you are starting music production and wanna have plenty quality plugins for low money, i think its pretty awesome what they offer.

Whoever is the most innovative and the cheapest wins the battle against the competition, so PA's business idea is very successful.
That's why it's called market (from marketplace) either you undercut your competition or you sell better products. How do
you keep a customer by enticing them with discounts or promising them a bonus is also called customer retention today.

I wish there was a subscription bundle like this when i started producing, but now that i have so much i rather buy here and there, but for newbs or people who really only work with PA this is a great option.

If I check my email history for PA, it's an impressive number of promotional messages, sometimes more than one per day. and very often the deadline of one promotional message is inconsistent with the next one. If a company would do the same using traditional mail, it would be sanctioned for unfair marketing practices. I understand that the pro audio market is based on GAS, but this is too much for my taste. They do some good plug-in, nothing worth that stressful endless marketing campaign.

Yep. My only "fault" was that I registered a PA account using "mail.RU" email address (there could be no other reason). I don't even live in Russia. I bought a bunch of their plugins on sales (about 15-20 of them), then my account was deleted without any warning or explanation. Not even blocked or anything, deleted. I sent them a few emails explaining what my "fault" was, but there was no reply.

I gave up on this company a few weeks ago as there is just too much drama going on, and I feel much better for it.

I refuse to be another man's cash flow. Already have everything from PA anyway, but they want to sign everyone up for commitments. Not just getting what you need. Would you go into a car garage for a new tire and sign up to use everything as a recurring monthly expense? Or just buy your item and leave. Stay away from subscription models, unless you're 1. complete newbie 2. making good money from producing

    That's fucked.

I mean I understand that because of the sanctions they wouldn't take new Russian customers, but this? They can fuck right off.

I got warned not to involve political content-views-or opinions..which is correct for any website, so we should be clear, PA had no right doing what they did, people should make note of their customer abuse

+1. I gave up on them the moment Francisco Partners vulture capital decided to be the private capital behind purchasing SoundWide. I"m getting ready to give up on the Surface Internet pretty soon as well, lol.

Worse then one can imagine: https://www.business-humanrights.or...cisco-partners-surveillance-technology-sales/

    https://www.bloomberg.com/news/feat...partners-profits-from-surveillance-censorship

    https://violationtracker.goodjobsfirst.org/parent/francisco-partners
but if the money they made was 100x more it was worth the fraud.:woot:

anyway, you dont have to remain online to use your rented plugins though, do you?
