RE: Extracting all individual midi files from a SD3 'MidiDB' file

Hi all, I stumbled across an interesting website today, https://www.midiremap.com/, which can convert inidividual midi files from one drum platform to another mapping (can batch as well). So you could convert SD3 to GGD and then actually have midi files imported into GGD to play on the fly.

To do this though, I'd need a way of extracting all the midi files from one of the 'MidiDB' files that superior drummer uses.

Is this possible?

 

The Mididb files are just organizing data.
The actual Midi files are in a folder called "Midi".
That is usually inside the EZDrummer folder, wherever it is that you have that.
I believe Superior Drummer also creates / uses that same directory / folder even if you do not have EZDrummer installed.
By default it might be:"C:\Program Files\Toontrack\EZDrummer\Midi
I moved all my Toontrack library folders from my OS drive long ago but that is what i see doing a quick Google
