I think JST is kind of weird, the emails show that they claim to frequently check licenses, sounds like they are not making as much money as they expected.

 

They collect and sell you completely. Your data brings cash. The dollar laughs and the brain stops working.

ok so this is for people from Europe selling, what about people elsewhere buying? how do they even know Johny Depp (example) has a residence in his own island or in Paris France if they can use any address when buying or registering their iLok etc

No they are very different, you have to read them each time before and with the purchase or download you accept the EULA or TOS .

b) Native Instruments products that are marked as "NFR" ("Not For Resale") or that have been provided to Licensee as such may only be used for demonstration, testing and evaluation purposes. Resale and transfer free of charge to third parties are not permitted. NFR products are excluded from update, upgrade or crossgrade offers and cannot be purchased with or exchanged for vouchers or coupons.
