Need help. I installed update ver. 3.0.3 and the stand-alone works fine, but when I try to open it up in reaper I get the error message.
    FX: Track S "EZdrummer 3"
    FX Edit Options
    VST3i. EZdrummer 3 ;Toontrack 32 .
    Basic
The installed resources and the plug-in are not the same version!
    Plug-in version: 3.0.0 Version of resources: 3.0.3
    Please reinstall EZdrummer 3.
    Any ideas?
    Thanx

What I think happened (because something similar happened to me) is that the update plugin is installed in another folder. Check that the plugin has been installed in the same folder where you had the previous version installed.

Try to install the update again (but don't install it) When you get to the part where you install the plugin, see what the folder is. Then close. Go to that folder, cut it and paste the vst in the folder where you have the other version installed.
Or, uninstall it. Reinstall and change the destination to the destination folder where you have vst installed.

These are old file remnants that cause these problems.

1.) Use the un-installer and manually delete all old EZDrummer folders.
2.) Use the CCleaner and clean your registry.
    3.) Restart your PC
4.) Install the latest Toontrack EZdrummer version

    Ok, Solved the problem.
I went all the way back to ver 3.0, then tried 3.0.1 to see if that could match the vst file that Ezdrummer was reading.
Same result. Did a search using the program "Search Everything" for Ezdrummer 3.
Found that there was an ezdrummer 3.vst3 outside the toontrack folder, that was older than the newer one installed in the toontrack folder and that is what ezdrummer was reading everytime.
Deleted all the Ezdrummer 3 .vst3 files then reinstalled the updated 3.0.3 stand-alone and the .vst3 files.
    After that no more problems.
Hope this might help others that might have a similar problem.
    Thanx for the replies.
