    Guys 'n' gals, Ladies and Menfolk, how about a little mixing contest the old-fashioned way? You could also call it mixing like grandpa or mixing like in @Xupito's youth. Means with vintage channel emulations only. Which one is up to you but you must use only one kind. More terms and conditions in Part 2 where I will also link to the stems of these songs.

    * This one's from Produce Like A Pro and you'll need to request the stems per email (a temporary email works flawlessly and you'll receive the link immediately. The whole process takes only a minute or two).

    The 'acoustic' versions have an e-bass and e-guitars, so not acoustic in a narrower sense.
    The Progressive tracks are not that progressive/weird.

    All songs have only between 10 and 20 stems so even beginners shouldn't be too challenged.


    In case of an overwhelming participation (1.000.000 + votes LOL) we can make a second contest.


    UPDATE: I think we could announce the obvious winners now, procede to Part 2 and start mixing? :yes:

    A comparison to hardware would be very interesting but the Massenburgs have a variable Q and fine stepped or continuous freqs, AFAIK and this would spoil the comparison.
