If you look at LordSin's Best Answer on pae 2 there is a particularly elegant solution that I have been using since that makes this whole situation a lot easier to navigate - I've been using it ever since.

Maybe they just think by releasing a thousand small packs, they will be too annoying to get uploaded.

The upload portion doesn't seem to be going so hot, but on my end it's working. I haven't even considered downloading them.

It occurs to me that, in a respectful way, you can write to the author of the publications. And look for a solution that is good both for him and for you, through dialogue you can reach an agreement. Throwing a tantrum will only be more and more of these complaints.


I guess everyone who complains must donate a good sum of money to the sister site. I have seen many say to reform the sister site by putting new features.
When no one pays the staff a salary.
I know other warez sites, something similar to the sister site, where you have to click on advertisements to download things, and none of them have a forum.

It seems incredible, but the more a site offers, the more people complain.
This is common to see on free sites to watch movies. For example, sometimes the audio is running, and people insulting because the audio is running. But when the movie works perfectly, no one even says thank you.

I have seen few people thank for the work of the sister site. The last one I saw was one that said "This place is rock"

Here it seems that it is easier to complain than to thank. Typical of the person who has everything served.

You're wrong and right in the same time...
first, Big City relased some good packs, as examples:

Legend of soul 1-5
NOSTALGIA SOUL 1-5
SOULFUL SELECTIONS
so did they before

But yesterday the flood happened...really...someone threw a ton of
their packs that are real crap.

PS. I recollect that period (roughly 2006-2015) when Big Fish Audio, Producerloops, Fox samples, Loopmasters, Ueberschall and few other brands released really unforgetable packs of construction kits, and those were just masterpieces both musically and productions

 

Every time I refresh the page, there are 20 more of these Big Citi Loops packs ul'd. I keep thinking 'surely that has to be the end, right?'. Apparently not.

would definitely love and appreciate a function that allows each user to personally filter / curate what new posts they see on the home page. i'm all for the maximum amount of free resources being available to people, but wading through 10+ pages of new sample packs every day isn't always ideal

also, it's possible to discuss the sample pack "issue" without wading into cliche'd stereotypes. that's unnecessary and goofy

To make things more convenient for bots, would it be possible to add a round‘ robin effect at the ratings for dl posts at sister site?

hahahaha! I'm not sure what this statement means, but it made me laugh a lot

 

It would be less hassle if all those sample packs can be grouped into fewer posts. Each pack could still have its own separate download link if that's how they like to do it. But several of them should be listed under 1 single post.

Like just put "Big City Loops - Siza World Collection" and throw all that's relative in it. And then even when they come out with "Siza World vol.1000".. the links to new ones can be added to the same topic as an update. Most of those Big City Loops packs could be grouped in bundles of around 20 just based on their relative title name.

 

Why don’t put them in a different section like „music arranger“ and the other stuff in a section called „(starving) music producers“?
