I guess, it wasn't a manual treatment
of what can have: EDM nice female vocals stems, where the vocalists are amateurs. (you need to treat every word). Genre: EDM.

This video is just an example: as you can see in the video, the actress, well not breathing correctly, no articulation, but the audio process corrected everything.
And I guess the audio was processed automatically, I do not think they invest in audio engineering with every word/syllable processing, because it is too much time/money
Sure it may sound over-processed, but it's what I am looking for in EDM

 

I guess they used something similar to Accusonus Era bundle (that is freeware now) to process the voice, Era bundle is kind of standard in terms of processing speech/voice for streaming and similar.

 

I've no idea what you're talking about, but there's no way to "fix" bad singing with "processing". The woman in the video sounds like she's very nervous and out of breath, nothing is "fixed" there. The relative quality of recording is due to proper mic placement. it also seems to be EQed and compressed, judging by the noise tone and level. I don't think there's any other processing in there.
Oh, and she doesn't sing. Needless to say this alone makes a huge difference in articulation requirements.

EDIT: Yeah, when you think about that, it's more likely just a flat amplification. I don't think I hear compression working.

I'd even say there's either zero compressing but slow auto-levelling or it has a pretty slow attack time. Listen to 'technology' close to the end. RMS and peak are jumping up by several dB. This would not be usable for an EDM track.

 

I'm talking about voice processing. Video for example, because you can see how the actress speaks (without preparation, with wrong breathing, without articulation), but every syllable is heard on the same level.
I'm wondering how this is possible.
Sometimes I have stems (professional ones!) and I need to dance with every syllable...

Perhaps your vocalists have a poor diction and need a speech therapist first. If that's the case, the clean result can't be achieved with processing. You just bloody can't, end of story.

 

You can use compression as a leveler by enabling auto-gain. you can treat harsh S sounds with a De-Esser, and Plosive Consonants can be treated with something like Accusonus Plosive remover. The rest probably has to be creative FX for EDM use. I like UVI Shade. You can also use Melodyne or something like Logic's Flex Pitch.

 

Use a voice leveler. Accusonus Era bundle has one and other great tools for vocal processing. For EDM use the voice leveler before compressing.

 

when I first saw the video, I thought: it is impossible talking-breathing-in at the same dynamic level.
Now I think it is just a lot easier with the usual voice as in the video. But you have a lot more dynamics while singing and more problems with b/p/s/th).

There is no "vocal processing" per se except for compression and EQ. Are you talking about the vocal fry she does at 15 sec?

I know a way to process a vocal which makes it sound super sexy. Make a send track with an extreme amount of distortion, like khs Distortion, Faturator or Decapitator. EQ and stereo image it properly, and mix it with the original dry version in very small amounts, even -30db makes audible differences. Idk if its a genre specific thing, but it works. Also always use sends / parallel busses for processing vocals, it has always had better results for me

start with TDR Nova and put multiple instances of them after each other,

in a similar manner, you can observe how radio and TV broadcasters do voice processing live

It's not genre specific, you can use that distortion trick in many other spots than just with Vocals. Try it with Output Thermal if you happen to have it.
